We've achieved 50% of our ticket sales. We're half way to full attendance for FallCon 31. This is exciting news and something we've never achieved with early bird badges.
Our vendor and sponsors positions having been filling up quickly. We're up to 9 vendors / sponsors this year and several are new to us like Luma Games a distributor from Eastern Canada, Board Game Central a board game store from Lethbridge, Galaxy Gaming Gear a local gaming accessory creator.
The finalists are in for the CGDA and all four of them are listed on the Design Contest page. These games will be available to try out at FallCon 31. The winner will be announced during the live auction at 7pm on Saturday. We will have Special Guests in attendance to hand out the awards again, similar to last year. Who is it you might ask? Thats a surprise you'll have to attend the Auction to find out.
New events are loaded into the schedule almost daily. The latest update has added Prototypes to the schedule. These are games that have been created by local boardgame designers and need your input to make them amazing. We've added Role Playing Games to the schedule this year. This is a new addition to FallCon and hopefully will be a hit. The schedule is filling up fast so sign up and get your tickets quickly.
The events are live for the people who want to sell games at the Auction and Fleamarkets.
Stay tuned for more information in the next week as more events are added to the schedule. We've got loads in store for you for events this year!
Welcome to our new website. We've spent several days updating our site. We've also switch to using a website editor program that is pretty easy to use. This goes along with our current theme of trying to make this convention workable by future volunteer crews without the old crew having to step in and assist. Kudos to our previous webmistress / webmaster Angela & Mike Henders. Their work on our website over the last two years paved the way to what we have now. Their phenomenal IT support and skills are amazing and we wouldn't be where we are now without them.
FallCon is an ever evolving beast that constantly changes and updates itself. Despite our best efforts each year to say "we're changing nothing" we inevitably change something every year.
Additionally this year we've had a slew of volunteers step up to help out the team. Thank you and welcome to the fold. There are still several volunteer positions that we can fill if you are interested head over to the volunteer opportunities page.
